This award-winning concert for the Philadelphia Orchestra’s youngest listeners comes to the Friends Center at 15th and Cherry Streets in Center City Philadelphia. The concert is geared to 3-5 year-olds. Open to daycare centers, preschool and kindergartens in the area. Special guest musician, Richard Harlow. Special guest instrument is the cello. Our accompanist is Hugh Sung.

Featured Collaborative Artist – Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company

Noted choreographer and company founder, Carolyn Dorfman and I have revived this interdisciplinary work we created some 20 years ago! DANCE/STORIES presents unique choreography set to several traditional stories told live as well as personal narratives. Three artistic disciplines combine for a thought provoking work. Music by Horacee Arnold. This performance is part of the company’s Gala benefit. Performance will be preceded by a reception at 6pm. Interact with the artists following the performance. Guest Narrator – Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra

This will be my 2nd appearance with my own 70-year old community orchestra! The orchestra will present two FREE family concerts in the lobby of the historic pre-restored Lansdowne Theater, the jewel of the Lansdowne Avenue business district. I will be narrating the classic, Peter and the Wolf. You can take advantage of tours of the theater between and after the concerts.
