Greetings and welcome. Looking forward to the 2023-2024 season

While the world is back to in-person concerts, virtual presentations are still an option if that works best for your school or organization.

A new CD or two is in the works. One will feature the inspiring story of the Six Triple-Eight, the first all Black WAC Battalion ever assigned to military duty in Europe during WWII. Their contributions to the country went unacknowledged until recent years. The surviving members - now centenarians - were recently awarded the Congressional Gold Medal. I received a standing ovation when I told the story at the National Storytelling Festival last year (2022).

2023-2024 marks my 33rd season working The Philadelphia Orchestra, my third as the orchestra’s Official Storyteller, Narrator and Host. This season also marks my 30th as the original Host of Sound All Around, the orchestra’s concert series for our youngest listeners.
